1) The XM4 has a BASS BOOST button. The XM3 does not. When enabled, the bass boost adds approximately +6dB @ 100Hz. When disabled, the XM4 frequency response is flat.  2) Crossfeed adjustment knob: The XM3 requires a screwdriver to adjust. The XM4 can be adjusted by hand without a screwdriver:  3) Minor changes to front panel: On the XM4, the bass and crossfeed buttons are now labelled. |
